    SquidFest shares the day with the local American Legion #69’s RibFest and the Steve Virnig Memorial Disc Golf Tournament, because more food, friends, and music is always better - and RibFest will continue into the night. 

    If we’re lucky, Todd - our resident river squid - may even make an appearance!

Spend the evening listening to young up and coming artists & musicians while enjoying a delicious 4 course meal in three different locations! The evening is inspired by the beautiful new welcoming mural on the side of the K.K. Berge Building by Artists Nicole & Nick Fischer, that reads "Dear Future Us..." this event is about celebrating our future!

    The evening will begin at 6 PM with happy hour and an appetizer on the footbridge at Lende Plaza.

    LMREC is very excited to welcome Ellen Kealey for a weekend clinic on thoughtful horsemanship! Ellen Kealey is a horsemanship trainer and instructor in the Minneapolis area. Ellen’s approach applies to all disciplines and stages of learning as she works to obtain mental and physical softness. Her philosophy works from the horse's perspective for higher levels of understanding for both the human and the horse.

    We will be open for a less scary, "Kiddie Night", with no actors on Thursday, October 30th, from 4-6 PM

    YME Parent Teacher Organization and YME Community Ed and Activities present: Father Daughter Dance 2026.

    Bert Raney Elementary Girls in grades K-5, and their Dad or Father figure, are welcome to attend this years dance!

    There will be music and dancing, photos and games, raffle prizes and great memories!

    There will also be food, and goodies available for purchase (please try to bring small bills!)

    Join in the fun. Dance goes from 6pm - 8pm. Doors open at 5:45pm. Dress in your best attire (this is encouraged but not required.)

    The event is free of charge but we will be accepting free-will donations to cover the cost of expenditures.

    We are also collecting canned food donations at the door, for our local food shelf. You will be entered into a special raffle just for donating!
