Makers Markets will occur on the 1st Thursday of each summer month, June, July and August, from 5-8 PM. The Creative vendors, food and drink and live music along the Minnesota River in downtown Granite Falls. This is an event created and hosted by the Granite Area Arts Council.

SquidFest shares the day with the local American Legion #69’s RibFest and the Steve Virnig Memorial Disc Golf Tournament, because more food, friends, and music is always better - and RibFest will continue into the night. 

If we’re lucky, Todd - our resident river squid - may even make an appearance!

Celebrate the Meander Art Crawl Opening Night with a progressive culinary and creative tour of downtown Granite Falls! Spend the evening listening to young up and coming artists & musicians while enjoying a delicious 4 course meal in three different locations! The evening is inspired by the beautiful new welcoming mural on the side of the K.K. Berge Building by Artists Nicole & Nick Fischer, that reads "Dear Future Us..." this event is about celebrating our future!

The evening will begin at 6 PM with happy hour and an appetizer on the footbridge at Lende Plaza.

Campfire Chronicles: Odd & Spooky Story Sharing

Join us this spooky season on Wednesday, October 15th from 6-7:30 PM for our Odd & Spooky Campfire Chronicles event! We will gather together around a campfire out on The Rock's patio to share spooky, scary & odd stories with one another! Feel free to come share a story, written down or from memory, or just listen and enjoy the company!

Complimentary s'mores & refreshments will be provided to attendees. The Rock also has beverages and food available for purchase!

This event is free and open to the public.

Join the Arts Council for a cozy evening of seasonal arts and crafts. Turning old sweaters and wall art into festive fall decor. Please bring old sweaters and art, some material will be provided. $10 fee, please register ahead of time!

Step down into the basement of The YES! House where The OH NO! House will be in full swing making all of your biggest fears come true! If you were lucky enough to survive The OH NO! House last year, you will find that this year a whole new experience awaits, with more twists, turns and awe (or should I say AHHHH). Come check it out on Halloween Friday, October 31st, from 5-9 PM to see for yourself!!!

We will be open for a less scary, "Kiddie Night", with no actors on Thursday, October 30th, from 4-6 PM

For those who are able, there will be a $2-$5 per person suggested donation for the Haunted House with all proceeds going directly towards next year's Haunted House efforts.

The Haunted House is open to all ages, adult supervision is advised for children 10 & under.

YME Parent Teacher Organization and YME Community Ed and Activities present: Father Daughter Dance 2026.

Bert Raney Elementary Girls in grades K-5, and their Dad or Father figure, are welcome to attend this years dance!

There will be music and dancing, photos and games, raffle prizes and great memories!

There will also be food, and goodies available for purchase (please try to bring small bills!)

Join in the fun. Dance goes from 6pm - 8pm. Doors open at 5:45pm. Dress in your best attire (this is encouraged but not required.)

The event is free of charge but we will be accepting free-will donations to cover the cost of expenditures.

We are also collecting canned food donations at the door, for our local food shelf. You will be entered into a special raffle just for donating!
